# Build Theory > Build Theory is a 30-day online fellowship, based in Hyderabad, India, where engineering students and early professionals find a real problem, build the fix with AI tools, and launch it to real users, one-to-one with a mentor, in about 3–5 hours a week alongside DSA and placement prep. It is a program of EduPodX by Poditivity Advertising and Education Pvt. Ltd., founded by Thakur Prashanth. ## The fellowship (Cohort 02) - Format: 30 days, fully online, 1:1 mentor for most classes. One in-person Demo Day in Hyderabad, in front of innovators, investors and leaders. - Curriculum: Phase 1 "Think like a builder" (problem discovery, PRD, MVP scope); Phase 2 "Build with AI" (design with Claude Design, build with Claude Code, test with users, ship live); Phase 3 "Show it to the world" (interview sessions, pitch deck, Demo Day, go-to-market support for products with commercial potential). - Included: the Build Theory Fellowship app with all courses and recordings, a permanent Build Theory ID card, lifetime community access, 1:1 classes and personal support, a 24/7 AI assistant for doubts, interview sessions and Demo Day. - Who it is for: any year, any branch. No coding or AI experience needed. - Price: ₹14,999 per team of up to 2 seats (about ₹7,500 each as a pair). ₹12,000 if referred by a Cohort 01 fellow. Prices exclude GST, charged at the applicable rate. No payment to apply. - After applying: Prashanth calls within 24 hours to talk through the idea. - Internships: the strongest fellows can be selected for paid forward-deployed internships on real client projects. Not guaranteed and not part of the fee. - Build Theory does not guarantee placements. ## For founders (non-technical founders) Page: https://edupodx.com/for-founders - What it is: a one-to-one programme for founders who know the problem but not the code: student founders with no builder on the team, working professionals with a side idea, and business owners who run on spreadsheets. You build your first version yourself with AI, put it in real customers' hands, and keep the code, the data and every decision. - How it works: Days 1–7 have no AI. You pick the problem, understand it in depth, interview real customers, and write an ideation document, a PRD and an MVP specification. Days 8–15 you build with AI on your own GitHub, Supabase and Vercel accounts, with a mentor checking each step. Days 16–23 real users try it. Days 24–30 you launch, write a pitch deck and pitch at Demo Day in Hyderabad. - Vibe coding vs vibe developing: vibe coding is describing an app to an AI and accepting whatever comes back. Vibe developing, the Build Theory way, uses the same AI tools like a product team: problem first, plan first (PRD and MVP spec), every step checked by a mentor, a security and production review before launch, and the founder understands and owns every part. - Plans: Founder Sprint, 30 days, 13 guided one-to-one sessions, ₹15,000 per team of up to 2 seats (list price ₹20,000). Founder Deep Dive, 60 days, 18 sessions, ₹27,000 per team (list price ₹40,000); it adds two unit economics deep dives, a pricing and first-users session and two mentor connects. The Cohort 02 founder price runs until 10 November 2027. All prices exclude GST, charged at the applicable rate. No payment to apply. - Time: about 6–8 hours a week in the first 30 days; about 3–4 hours a week in the second month of the 60-day plan. - Guarantee: show up to every session and do the work, and if you're still not live by Day 30, Build Theory keeps working with you until you are. - Day 30 deliverables: a live product on your own domain with real users, your own accounts, a one-page PRD, a security and production review, a handoff doc for the developer you hire later, real user feedback, a pitch deck and a Demo Day slot. - Free build plan: 6 questions, about 3 minutes, on the page. It shows a buildability score for a 30-day v1, what goes in v1 and what waits for v2, the path that fits, time and cost compared with an agency, and which plan fits (30 or 60 days). A copy is emailed. No payment, no sales pitch. - Mentors include Thakur Prashanth (Founder & CEO, Poditivity), Devidi Nymisha (technical mentor in both founder plans), Akash Sheelvanth (Indian School of Business; unit economics and pricing in the 60-day plan) and Sumanth Penta. - Proof: Cohort 01 had 14 teams and 20+ live products, including Madli by Madhupriya Allam (a working professional, shipped in 24 days), Rethink Flow by Shruti Sharma (an educator) and Rethink OS by Dhananjaya Nair (Founder, Rethink Education). - Not for you if: you want someone else to build it while you wait, can't give it about 6–8 hours a week, want a certificate rather than a live product, need a guaranteed funding outcome, or your v1 needs a physical device or handles health or bank data at its core. ## Key pages - [Cohort 02 fellowship](https://edupodx.com/): program, Cohort 01 fellows, mentors, price and FAQ. - [For founders](https://edupodx.com/for-founders): a one-to-one programme for non-technical founders to build their first product with AI in 30 days, with a free build plan that checks whether an idea fits a 30-day v1. - [Free readiness score](https://edupodx.com/readiness-score): a 2-minute check that scores a student out of 100 across 7 areas recruiters look at and lists the top 3 gaps. - [Apply for Cohort 02](https://edupodx.com/apply/build-theory-cohort-02): about 5 minutes, no payment. - [Cohort 01 fellow stories](https://edupodx.com/blogs/build-theory-cohort-01-fellow-stories-what-24-students-built): every team and what they built. - [Blog](https://edupodx.com/blogs) ## Contact - Email: buildtheory@edupodx.com - Location: Hyderabad, India ## Cohort 01 (BT-01): 26 fellows, 16 teams - Rethink OS: Dhananjaya Nair (BTF-001), founder of Rethink Education, had never used GitHub.
